When you think of property deeds, you think of titles and maybe a home or property mortgage.

When you think of the buying and selling of a home or property, you might picture a contract from the buyer passing to the seller, and their attorney who has looked over the offer. Most often, when a prospective buyer does this, they have put down a deposit for the home, or property.

What I have described is conveyancing which is the transfer of real estate property, which includes housing, and land from one party, to another with their attorneys. This real estate attorneys other title is a conveyancer.
