Where to Get Cheap Loans

Where do I get if I just need a loan for about a month or two? I was promised an advance in my pay but I never thought for an instant that it would not come when promised. I did the unthinkable and spent the money before I had it and now I am short. I need to find cheap loans to get me through. I have never been in this position before so I am not sure how to go about it or where to go. I have never been in this position before and I don’t want to rely on my credit cards.
