what is a College Scholarship

Ever wonder just what a College Scholarship is? I am sure most think of it as money they get to pay for tuition and books and living expenses. Most do not stop to consider that a College Scholarship is also a tool that can actually make some colleges money. Take the sports scholarship for example. College recruiters go after the best high school player in order to produce winning teams so they can get can get paid better fees for games played on T.V. and also so that long after star players graduate they will return and make donations to the school.
