What Kind of Training is Involved With A Respiratory Therapy Degree?

I want to get into the medical field, but surgery is not for me and I don’t have years to spend going to medical school. I found out about become a respiratory therapist and I have to say, this is something that I can handle. I will need to get a respiratory therapy degree, an associates, and at the same time receive the training I’ll need in the diagnostic equipment I’ll be using as well as math and science as well. I’m finding out that respiratory care involves a basic understanding of math problem solving as well as chemical principles. These are all things I learned in high school and now it’s going to help me land a great job.
